In the summer of this year, UP StatSoc ranked 1st in the Freshmen Orientation Program
Committee Race with 255,168 points, almost 50,000 points from the second placer.

2007
UP StatSoc placed 2nd in the first ever UPSTAGE, a dance competition among UP Orgs.
In the second semester of A.Y. 2006-2007, the UP StatSoc Song, entitled “From Now On”, was composed by the then applicant Ms. Erika Joy Valmonte for their Applicant’s Night presentation.
UP StatSoc became the Statwars Champion for 2 consecutive years (2007-2008).

2006
January – the first ever Inter-Committee Stat-is- Eeks! was held. Expectedly, it was championed by the ER Committee. In second place was the Personnel Committee. In third place was the Finance Committee.

February – UP StatSoc’s first university-wide trivia quiz show Stat-en- Ekek was launched.
​
March – 15 new amendments in the constitution were ratified.
​
UP StatSoc celebrated its 25th founding anniversary. In line with this, Mynard Bryan Mojica was named UP StatSoc’s Silver Scholar. He was a member of Education and Research committee and was a consistent university scholar.

UP StatSoc had 25 applicants each for the first semester and second semester.
​
The Freshmen Block O-2, one of the blocks handled by UP StatSoc, was proclaimed the best block among 80 plus other blocks.

2008
The Freshmen Block O-1, one of the blocks handled by UP StatSoc, was proclaimed the best block among 80 plus other blocks.
In the second semester of A.Y. 2007-2008, Mr. Rafael Surell and Ms. Lea Ann Marie Fernandez, both from the Finance Committee, became the first ever Mr. and Ms. StatSoc.

UP StatSoc headed the Finance Committee in UP Freshmen Orientation Program Committee Steering Committee.

December – UP StatSoc participated for the first time in AWITAN, a chorale competition hosted by UP KEM. UP StatSoc placed 4th.
March –Article 11, Section 7 of the constitution was amended.

In summer, UP StatSoc won the first ever Block Handling Race of the School of Statistics Student Council by earning 70% of the total points.
July 17 – UP StatSoc sponsored Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at Cinema 4, SM North The Block, their first ever movie screening.

November 18 – UP StatSoc sponsored the movie screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 at Cinema 6 of SM North. Tie up organizations were UP ZS, UP MSS, UP CIRCA, GE Club, UP ACME, UP SME, UP AstroSoc .
